Summer’s almost over, just as it’s about to end, I thought of making homemade ice cream.
I wanted it to be plain and simple… so i got a recipe and as much as possible, i would never put eggs in it. Most recipes call for eggs (raw), but due to salmonella issues, i scrapped it out.
My ice cream maker has not been used for probably a decade now and i’m hoping it’s still ok.
recipe called for 250ml milk, 250ml cream, 75 g sugar, and some chocolate chips.
I added a tsp of coffee to make a mocha flavored ice cream. The chocolate I used is a bar of Hershey’s minus a couple of segments dad took while i was chopping them. less chunks.

ice cream in the works
just transferred the soft ice cream into a container and froze it overnight.

Notes:
- recipe was too sweet
- follow manufacturer’s instructions well
